IBA-VAC
• Description:
freeze- dried live vaccine against infectious Bursal disease

• PROPERTIES:
IBA-VAC is prepared using an intermediate strain of the Infectious Bursal disease virus, suspended in a stabilizing solution and freeze-dried.

• COMPOSITION:
1 dose of vaccine contains: not less than: 103 EID50
• ADMINISTRATION:
By drinking water.
IBA-VAC can be administered to broilers and pullets.
The recommended age for vaccination is around the 3rd week of age in order to avoid the contrasting action of maternal antibodies.
Taking into account the difficulties in delaying the penetration of the infection on farms, vaccination at 12-15 days of age is advisable.
In order to confer an effective active immunity in chicks with a very variable level of maternal immunity, it is recommended to vaccinate twice with an interval of 7-10 days between the two vaccinations.
Immunity is established 10-15 days after vaccination, also in relation to the level of passive maternal antibodies.

• STORAGE:
IBA-VAC must be stored in a refrigerator at +2°C to +8°C.
• PACKING:
 1000-dose vials

• COMPOSITION:
1 dose of vaccine contains not less than: La Sota strain 1055 EID

• ADMINISTRATION:
In the drinking water:
For Broilers:
it is advisable to perform a previous vaccination at 4-8 days and a second one (booster dose) 3 weeks after the first administration.
For Pullets and Layers:
in addition to the vaccinations at the same ages indicated for broilers, a third vaccination is necessary between the 15th and the 20th week, then at intervals of about 4 months.

• DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Make sure that no antiseptic or disinfectant substances are contained in the drinking water or in the troughs.
Make birds thirsty by cutting the water supply for 2-3 hours.
Distribute the water containing the vaccine in a number of troughs so all birds have access to the vaccine within 2-3 hours.
